Fela Sweets - Logo, Branding & Social Media Design
Fela Sweets is a bakery delivering indulgent and elegant deserts to your door. Denise, the founder of Fela Sweets, named the company after her beloved grandmother who taught her how to bake. She wanted a brand that was very feminine and fun and that also represente the culture and color of Curaçao, where she is from. The wordmark is of-course handwritten to represent the artisanal and made-to-order desserts, and the “f” playfully becomes a baking whisk. The colors and illustrations create an ornate world meant to be a tropical and modern version of Marie Antoinette’s Versailles- decadent, fun, homey, cheeky and always sweet. Aside from creating the logo and branding, we worked on the content design for Fela’s social media launch, packaging design for her cakes, greeting cards, business cards, stickers, menus and more. ,
